The Story Behind the Course
This primer rises from lived practice with Sankofa at the center and breath before words. For Black writers in recovery and across the African Diaspora, writing carries recovery, repair, and risk. A five to ten minute pre-writing ritual creates a pause that honors body and spirit, restores authorship as birthright, and invites clarity before the first sentence.
